Elvis On A Sunday Morning

Elvis. He's everywhere.


Even on CBS Sunday Morning this very morning. The program provided an almanac piece noting, 45 years to the day, January 14th saw the broadcast of "Elvis: Aloha From Hawaii Via Satellite," a cancer benefit concert billed as the world's first live satellite concert by a solo artist.



It just goes to show you, no matter what, it's not possible for anyone to deny the fact: Everywhere you go there Elvis is.

Looking through long-playing records while at one of the local hospice shops this morning I look up and what do I see?

Elvis ... looking back at me ...

Elvis. He's everywhere. Even sneakily peeking out from thrift store book shelves.
